Show Arena Building Addition Project
Request for qualifications

This request for qualification (RFQ) for the Show Arena Building Addition Project (SABAP or Project) invites statements of qualifications (SOQs) according to the requirements set forth in the RFQ, including the format and content guidelines in Section 5. The SOQs will be reviewed and evaluated to generate a short list of Respondents, as described in Section 6 that will then be invited to submit proposals. The capitalized terms in the RFQ have the meanings as first used in the text of this RFQ or as general described in the relevant industry.
The project is to be designed and implemented in two stages using the design build delivery method:
- Preliminary Stage: Prepare design to 60% to 90% complete and a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) proposal
- Completion Stage: Complete design, construction and post construction tasks, (if GMP is approved by the owner in Preliminary Stage)
At completion of the SOQ evaluation process. Auglaize County Agricultural Society (owner) intends to issue a request for proposals (RFP) to the short-listed Respondents for award of the Show Arena Building Addition contract.
In no event will the Owner be liable for any costs incurred by the Respondent or any other party in developing or submitting a SOQ. The owner does not anticipate providing a stipend to any Respondent or Proposer under the procurement.
